Our Friends Programme

CC21 is funded mainly by voluntary donations, ticket sales and Friends’ membership. We have established the CC21 Friends Programme to raise funds to allow us to continue to explore interesting repertoire, and to perform music to the highest standard. Our Friends really do make a difference.

Many thanks to our founding Benefactor Friends
Christy Billings, Aubrey Botsford, Anthony Leigh, Jill Shutt
... and also to others who prefer to remain anonymous

As a CC21 Friend, you will know that you are helping a newly-formed choir establish itself. You will receive:

  • A dedicated Friends’ Newsletter. You can download recent Friends' newsletters here:
  • Complimentary interval or post-concert drink at concert receptions
  • Acknowledgement in concert programmes
  • Opportunities to meet the conductor, choir and soloists at post concert social events
  • Advance information about concerts and recordings
  • Your name on CC21’s website (Benefactors only)
  • Support of one concert or new commission per season (Benefactors only)

CC21 Friends' subscriptions provide support for the following:

  • music hire
  • concert venue hire
  • rehearsal venue hire
  • conductor’s fees
  • commissioning new works
  • soloists
  • ticket printing
  • programme printing
  • leaflet design
  • postage costs
  • web page hosting
  • and much more

For some concerts, we may identify a particular charity to benefit from any ticket proceeds left over after meeting concert expenses, so by being a CC21 Friend, you will also be indirectly helping other worthwhile charitable causes.

For more information about our friends' programme, download our friends' leaflet.

You can become a CC21 Friend for as little as £25, though larger donations will be most welcome. If you would like to pay by Standing Order, please download our Standing Order form. Alternatively, if you have any questions, please contact our Chairman or our Friends' Administrator.
